Dear GCSC Member,

Clean air is vital for health and prosperity. And air quality is also a pressing concern as Utah’s population booms, the Great Salt Lake shrinks, and the next Olympics loom. On March 4th from 3 to 4 pm in the Atmospheric Science Department (WBB 802) we will hold a faculty meet-and-greet to help build a stronger community around this highly interdisciplinary topic. While the focus of the event is getting faculty interacting and finding new collaborators, we will also discuss ways to further amplify air quality research at the University of Utah.
