Environmental leaders must be skilled at working in interdisciplinary teams where collaboration and communication are essential. In partnership with the Graduate School and the Sustainability Office, we facilitate two interdisciplinary graduate certificate programs that will build on disciplinary expertise and distinguish graduates as they enter the workforce. These programs bring together diverse groups of students to develop a broad understanding of interconnected environmental and sustainability issues and to learn from each other’s disciplinary expertise.
Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Sustainability
This program develops expertise and breadth in sustainability literacy and key concepts, grounding students in the overlap between science, society, and policy to address global change and sustainability challenges.
Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Hydrology and Water Resources
The understanding, development and management of water resources are critical global issues. This program offers professional development and meets the educational requirements for certification as a professional hydrologist.
