The 2017 Environment and Sustainability Research Symposium was the biggest yet, with 86 students from 20 different departments presenting their research.
Nearly 200 people–faculty, students, administrators, and family members–attended the interdisciplinary event. Presenters were drawn from students who receive GCSC funding for research or to present at professional conferences, those with Sustainable Campus Initiative Fund (SCIF) projects, and others who took advantage of the opportunity to present their environment or sustainability-related research to a a broad audience. Participants benefited not only through presenting their research and networking, but will also have their abstracts published in a digital archive through the Marriott library.
